The tradition of the “Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols” was established in England on Christmas Eve, 1918, in the chapel of Kings College, Cambridge University, for the university community and for the City of Cambridge. The Kings College service was first broadcast by radio in 1928; and, excepting the year 1930, these broadcasts have continued internationally to this day. This wonderful tradition, moreover, has been duplicated in churches throughout the world.

““Rogation Days are days to worship and say ‘This place matters to us, Lord. This soil, this earth, the people of this parish—their stories, their scars. Everything in this parish matters to us because it matters to you. And so we ask you to bless, provide, and save the people of your pasture in this parish.’”
Every other Friday, kids ages 5-12 are invited to gather for Bible study. We hope this opportunity will allow for CTF children to go deeper in the Word, build relationships, and provide opportunities for friends to join. We’ll have dinner, study and memorize scripture, talk story, and have fun. Our next gatherings are April 26th, May 10th, and May 24th. We will begin 15 minutes early, gathering in the parking lot to process together with palms into the church.
We will celebrate the feast of Perpetua and Felicity. Theirs is an incredible story of women encouraging one another and strengthening one another in faith - even to the point of martyrdom. These women faced incredible persecution as Christian mothers and, ultimately, death as they refused to renounce the risen Lord. CTF Women will gather together to share the story of their life as it has been passed down, encourage one another, pray for each other and our community, and feast together. It would be a blessing for our daughters to join us as well. Please let Kari Hanlon know if you can join and bring a brunch item to share.
